Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of DP Dashboard (dpdash.andreisisu.com), a free study planner built and run by Andrei Sisu ("I", "me"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
In plain terms: it's free, it's a student project, and it comes with no guarantees. Grade predictions are estimates, not official results. Use it kindly, and don't try to get into other people's accounts.
1. Who can use it
DP Dashboard is meant for students and anyone else who finds it useful. If you're under 16, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to create an account.
2. Your account
- You pick a username and PIN. Keep your PIN to yourself, and don't use one you use anywhere else.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- The PIN gives only light protection. Read the Security section of the Privacy Policy before storing anything personal.
3. Your content
Everything you put in the app, like your timetable, assignments, and grades, stays yours. You give me permission to store, sync, and display it only so the app can work for you, and for friends you choose to share your timetable with. You can export it or ask for it to be deleted at any time.
4. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- access, read, change, or delete anyone else's account or data, or try to guess usernames or PINs;
- attack, overload, scrape, or try to get around the limits of the app or its sync server;
- use the app to harass anyone, including through the Friends feature, or to store anything illegal;
- pretend to be someone else, or create accounts in another person's name.
If you find a security problem, please tell me instead of using it. I'll be grateful.
5. No official results and no guarantees
- Predicted grades, weighted scores, countdowns, and "right now" suggestions are estimates based on what you enter. They aren't official IB or school grades, and you shouldn't rely on them for decisions like university applications.
- Always check deadlines, exam dates, and requirements with your school and the IB.
- The app is provided "as is", with no guarantee that it's error-free or always available, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own backups (Settings → Export JSON) of anything important.
6. Changes and shutting down
I may change, pause, or shut down the app, or any feature, at any time. I'll try to give notice through the app before shutting it down, so you have time to export your data.
7. Suspending accounts
I may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. You can stop using the app and ask for your account to be deleted at any time.
8. Liability
As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the app. That includes lost data, missed deadlines, and decisions made based on its estimates. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't legally be limited, including your rights as a consumer.
9. Not affiliated with the IB
DP Dashboard is an independent project. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the International Baccalaureate Organization or any school. "IB" and "International Baccalaureate" are trademarks of the International Baccalaureate Organization.
10. Law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes go to the courts of Romania, unless the law gives you the right to bring them in your own country.
11. Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top will change and the app may ask you to agree again. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
